We double-check each tree upon delivery for healthy growth and good root structure then carefully plant the tree in the designated spot. Our time-tested methods for staking and irrigating young trees gets them off to their best start. We even include free structural pruning before planting to make sure the tree develops the best form.

Once your trees are planted, Terra’s Maintenance teams take over their care. Careful attention is crucial during the first 2-3 years. While other companies tend to “plant it and forget it,” we make sure to remove the stakes at the proper time, adjust the irrigation as the tree gets established, and inspect trees regularly for early signs of stress from pests or diseases.
