Redistributing Rainfall

The rainy season is almost here, and according to predictions, we’re in for a particularly wet winter. This is a good time to check your gutters and clear out drains and v-ditches to make sure rainwater can flow smoothly off your property.

Or you can do the opposite! Rather than sending the water into storm drains, consider redirecting or capturing the flow and letting it soak into the ground on your site. We can help you with this in a variety of ways:

We can install a French drain to divert water flow away from buildings, paths, and parking lots.

We can design and install a rain garden to slow the flow and give plants time to soak up the moisture.

We can install terraces to prevent water from running straight downhill.

We can install rain barrels on your downspouts to trap water from the roof.
