On March 15, a team from Terra attended an event organized by the East Bay Chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Association. This was a day of volunteer service at the world-renowned University of California Botanical Garden at Berkeley.

The project involved replacing decaying timber steps in the Garden’s Redwood Grove section, as well as working on paths to prevent washouts and clearing fallen branches after the recent windstorms. Lunch was provided. 

Donating labor to projects like this is a good way to give back to the community, so we try to do what we can when opportunities arise. Also, the pizza was so delicious!
